On Sunday Novemeber 30th, I was interviewed on the WSTM local channel 3 news morning show. (To see the article click here.) The interview was about our work with Freedom Recreation Services. It was really fun being on the news and it was great exposure for Freedom Recreation! We hope to get more children involved with their program as well as the riding program. In the two videos below Breanne measures Merrylegs (a miniature horse) and Geronimo (a Fresian cross) to compare the physical differences in the two horses. Great job Breanne! Educational and entertaining Merrylegs: Breanne shows us how to do a horse riding exercise called “Around the World” atop Geronimo. Lily rode Geronimo for the first time in a leadline competition and they both did a great job! Breanne offers commentary during the video. Breanne shares a fun fact about horses and their sleeping habits.
Breanne and Claire with Breanne’s Championship Ribbon! On Saturday evening we all attended the Classic Series Year End Awards Banquet at Le Moyne Manor in Syracuse. I am so proud to announce that Breanne won a third place year end championship in the Maiden Walk Trot division. Great job Breanne! We all enjoyed a lovely evening with good food, great friends, and lots of fun winning door prizes!
