Cheers putting in a perfect hunter round!

On Sunday we competed in the Corner Haven Farm horse show in Trumansburg, NY. Pat rode
Suki in the very competitive Schooling Jumpers. In their first two classes they came in
4th place. Then in an incredibly difficult Power & Speed class, Pat rode hard, went
clear, and they came in 3rd! Congrats Pat!
Nikki rode Lucky in the Childrens Hunters and got Reserve Grand Champion! She also rode
in the very challenging Open Equitation on the Flat class and got 2nd place!
I rode Chris’s pony, “Feather” (whose show name is Cheers), in the Schooling Hunters and
ended up Reserve Grand Champion with her!

Claire on Cheers, Dr.Kiltz on Geronimo, Cindy on Rosey

On Saturday we participated in the Limestone Creek Hunt ride at Hobbit Hollow Stables in
Skaneateles, NY. I rode Chris’s pony, Cheers, Dr.Kiltz rode his horse, Geronimo, and
Cindy rode her pony, Rosey. We enjoyed perfect weather and a fun ride through the hills
overlooking Skaneateles Lake. When we returned from the ride we were treated to an
amazing gourmet lunch hosted by Hobbit Hollow.  What a lovely way to spend a Saturday;
horses, food, and friends!
