Congrats to Beth and Joey for placing 2nd and 4th in the Baby Green Hunters! Kerston and Elianna placed 2nd, 3rd, and 4th in the Hopeful Hunters, and I showed Elianna in the Suitable Hunters at 2’9″ for the first time, placing 5th in the under saddle!
I showed Elianna on Saturday at the Lehman Farms Horse Show in Pittsford, NY. We competed in the Hopeful Hunters and the Suitable Hunters placing 3rd and 4th in the under saddles. We look forward to the High View show this coming weekend!

I’m very proud to announce that we’ve made some big improvements here at Claire Affleck Training! Our feed room has been entirely revamped. Improvements have also been made in the tack room and aisles. The indoor arena has all brand new kickboards, new footing, a new mirror, and improved lighting. Our outdoor arena has all brand new fencing and additonal sand footing. I am so excited for everyone to ride in our newly renovated riding spaces!

What a great way to wrap up our show season! Elianna competed in the Level 2 Hunters and the Baby Greens. She had the best rounds of her entire show season in the Baby Greens (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bVyI2_Q5TB8 ) and placed 5th and 6th in the Under Saddles. Kerston competed Red in the .95 M and 1.0 M Jumpers. They took all the inside turns, had clean rounds and came away placing 5th out of 25 competitors! Well done! Emily rode Fergie in the Pre-Adult Hunters. They had nice rounds over fences and a beautiful Under Saddle in which they placed 7th! Vanessa rode her pony, Rannita, in the Leadline Classic and won a blue ribbon! Lily showed Rannita in the Walk Trot Classic and placed 4th! Great job everyone!
