Claire and Rayden go clear in the .85 meter Jumpers!
We had a wonderful week at the 2009 Autumn in New York Horse Show! On Thursday, Claire showed Harangue, owned by Renee Lane, in the Baby Green Hunters. They placed 7th and 9th over fences out of 50 entries! Claire also showed Rayden in the .85 Meter Jumpers. They placed 7th in the Table 2.2b class, and had an amazing Power & Speed Class, placing 4th out of 25 entries! Jamee showed Farmer Jo, owned by Renee Lane, on Friday in the Pre-Children’s Hunters. They placed 4th and 5th over fences out of 25 entries and 3rd in the under saddle! Congrats Jamee and Jo!

On Saturday we participated in the Cornell Hunter Pace at the Equine Park in Ithaca, NY. Claire rode Farmer Jo, owned by Renee Lane, with Renee on her horse, Harangue, and with Jamee on Taken Not Given, also owned by Renee. We enjoyed some beautiful views and sunny weather!
Results from the LCH Hunter Pace are in! Team Affleck (Claire, Renee, and Jamee) came in third!

Rayden jumps clean in all three classes!
On Sunday I competed Rayden at the If Only Farm Horse Show
in Ithaca. We had three Puddle Jumper classes and went clear in all three!

Heather and Geronimo have a perfect Hunter Hack Class!
On Saturday we attened the Limestone Creek Hunt’s Master’s Challenge Hunter Trials at
Full Circle Farm in Cazenovia. I rode Harangue and Farmer Jo, both owned by Renee Lane,
in the Open Hunter Suitability and came in 5th on Farmer Jo. Jamee rode Farmer Jo in the
Junior Hunter Suitability and came in first place! Heather also competed in Junior Hunter
Suitability on Geronimo, owned by Dr.Robert Kiltz. I rode Harangue, Jamee rode Farmer
Jo, and Heather rode Geronimo in the Open Hunter Hack. Jamee came in 2nd, I came in 4th,
and Heather had a fantastic class on Geronimo!

On Saturday we attended the LCH Hunter Pace in Cazenovia, NY. Renee rode her beautiful gelding, Harangue, on a team along with Jamee on Taken Not Given, also owned by Renee, (in his first hunter pace!), and Claire on Farmer Jo, also owned by Renee. We had a great ride and lots of fun! Pat rode Geronimo, owned by Dr. Robert Kiltz, on a team with Cindy and her lovely pony, Rosey. They also enjoyed an exciting and fun filled ride!

The Parade of Hounds through the village of Cazenovia
On Sunday, Claire and Geronimo, owned by Dr. Robert Kiltz, attended the LCH Opening Hunt in Cazenovia, NY. The morning started with the Parade of Hounds through the village of Cazenovia, then went to the Lorenzo’s for the Blessing of the Hounds. After the Blessing we enjoyed a very exciting opening hunt! After a great ride, everyone attended the Hunt Breakfast at the Cazenovia College Equine Center. What a wonderful weekend! Hats off to everyone involved with LCH- THANK YOU!

Harangue and Claire in the Baby Green Hunters
I competed Harangue, owned by Renee and Joe Lane, in the Baby Green Hunters at the NYS Fair. Harangue jumped great and put in a perfect round coming in 3rd behind two nationally ranked horses!

Jamee and Farmer Jo in the Pre-Children’s!
Jamee rode Farmer Jo, also owned by Renee and Joe Lane, in the Pre-Children’s Hunters and ended up being the Reserve Grand Champion! She also won her Pre-Children’s Equitation Over Fences Class! Congrats Jamee and Jo!

I also competed Rayden in the .85M Jumpers. We had a clear round in the Speed Class, coming in 5th, and in the Power & Speed Class we had a rail and came in 6th. We had a lot of fun and I’m so pleased with how this youngster is coming along!
Pat rode his mare, Suki, in the .95M Jumpers as well as the Marshall & Sterling Medal Class.

Harangue and Claire in the Suitable Hunters
On Sunday August, 16th we attended the Corner Haven Farm Horse Show in Trumansburg, NY. Despite the 95 degree weather, we had a wonderful time! I showed Harangue, a beautiful Thoroughbred owned by Renee Lane, in the Suitable Hunters. We placed forth and fifth over fences, and placed second in the under saddle, as well as second in the Open Hunter Under Saddle. Heather rode Geronimo, owned by Dr.Rob Kiltz, in his Green Puddle Jumper debut and placed 3rd in the Table 2.2b class! Great riding Heather! I rode Rayden in the Puddle Jumper division, placing 3rd, 2nd, and 2nd. Pat, for our grand finale, rode his stunning mare, Suki, in the Schooling Jumpers and came away with the Grand Championship! Awesome riding Pat! Congrats!
We look forward to Corner Haven Farm Jumper Show in October!

I’m Bad competing at her first horse show!
On Sunday I rode I’m Bad in her first horse show. We competed at the Tanglewood Dressage show in Lafayette, NY. She was perfectly well behaved and performed beautifully coming in 5th! I am very proud of this youngster. She has a wonderful horse show career in front of her!

Team Affleck places 2nd at the DeRuyter Hunter Pace on Saturday! We enjoyed perfect weather on Saturday for this beautiful ride. Pat, Cindy, and I all rode together and had a fabulous time. We look forward to the October pace as well!

We had a great week at HITS Saugerties!
Pat competed his young, talented mare, Suki in the Level 1 Jumpers at HITS Saugerties. Pat and Suki competed all week in a class of 60 competitors and consistently came in the top 20. We were so happy with how well Suki did and I was immensely proud of both Pat and Suki for doing so well in this highly competitive field. Congrats Pat and Suki!
